Position Purpose
The Human Resources Officer is responsible for organizing key HR functions, including recruitment, onboarding, employee development, performance management, employee relations, HR administration, compensation, and compliance.
The role works closely with management and employees to ensure effective HR processes, a positive workplace culture, and alignment with the company’s business objectives.
Duties and Responsibilities
Recruitment and Selection of Agents
- Drafts and implements strategies for high-volume recruitment
- Manages the entire recruitment process from posting to hiring
- Collaborates with managers on workforce planning
- Builds and maintains candidate databases
- Monitors recruitment KPIs and improves processes
Onboarding and Employee Integration
- Organizes and oversees the onboarding process of new employees
- Coordinates with the training department for initial and ongoing programs
- Ensures that employees are equipped with the necessary knowledge and skills
Performance Management
- Implements and monitors the performance appraisal system
- Supports managers in setting objectives and evaluating staff
- Manages the probation period and tracks the performance of new employees
- Identifies development and training needs
Employee Relations
- Manages labor relations and addresses complaints and conflicts
- Ensures a positive and professional work environment
- Advises management on disciplinary issues and internal procedures
- Promotes organizational culture and staff engagement
HR Administration
- Maintains employee files and HR documentation
- Manages employment contracts, amendments, and terminations
- Ensures data accuracy in HR systems
- Prepares periodic reports for management
Legal Compliance
- Ensures that all HR practices comply with labor laws
- Implements company policies and procedures
- Manages potential audits and inspections
- Mitigates legal risks in staff management
Compensation and Benefits Management
- Collaborates with finance on the compensation process
- Ensures proper administration of benefits and compensation
- Monitors the fairness and competitiveness of compensation packages
- Monitors employee attendance
- Tracks adherence to and fulfillment of working hours
HR Strategic Planning
- Develops and implements HR strategies in alignment with business objectives
- Analyzes workforce trends (turnover, absenteeism, etc.)
- Proposes initiatives to improve efficiency and productivity
- Supports organizational growth and development
Continuous Improvement
- Identifies and implements improvements in company processes
- Uses data and analysis for decision-making
- Stays updated on best practices in HR and call center operations
