Automation Solutions Engineer (m/f/d)

Your Mission
As an Automation Solutions Engineer (m/f/d), you will analyze, design, build, and optimize automation solutions for our clients and internal teams.
Our clients use different systems and software, so we are not looking for someone who knows every tool. What matters is a strong technical foundation, experience with modern automation technologies, and the ability to quickly understand new systems and requirements.
You will work closely with our development team and actively implement solutions using low-code/no code tools as well as custom code where needed.
Your Responsibilities
- Build and optimize automation workflows using tools such as n8n, Make, Activepieces, or similar platforms.
- Analyze client processes and translate requirements into scalable technical solutions.
- Integrate CRM, ERP, SaaS, databases, APIs, AI services, and other software systems.
- Support our Senior and Junior Fullstack Developers in building and improving automation solutions.
- Implement solutions using low-code/no-code tools as well as custom development where required.
- Work with APIs, webhooks, JSON, authentication, databases, and backend integrations.
- Support AI-powered workflows, AI agents, chatbots, document processing, and other intelligent automation use cases.
- Test, troubleshoot, document, and continuously improve existing automations.
Your Profile
- Practical experience with workflow automation and system integrations.
- Good knowledge of tools such as n8n, Make, Activepieces, or comparable platforms.
- Programming knowledge, ideally in JavaScript / TypeScript, Python, or similar technologies.
- Good understanding of APIs, webhooks, JSON, databases, and authentication.
- Ability to quickly understand unfamiliar systems and technical documentation.
- Experience with CRM, ERP, SaaS, AI, Microsoft, or Google environments is an advantage.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Hands-on mentality – you should be able to both design and implement solutions.
- Independent, structured, and reliable way of working.
- Strong communication skills for working with customers and internal teams.
- German language skills at approximately B2 level or higher are strongly preferred.
- Good English skills.
- A relevant degree is beneficial, but practical experience and technical ability are more important.
