Short content of work tasks:

Responsible for the professional promotion and sales development of the assigned General Medicine portfolio, including Merck and Bionika products. The role includes planned field visits to general practitioners, internists, other relevant specialists, and pharmacists; implementation of approved marketing and sales activities; achievement and, where possible, overachievement of agreed sales targets; collection of market intelligence; and development of long-term, ethical, and mutually beneficial customer relationships in accordance with applicable legislation, industry standards, and internal company procedures.

Required job qualifications:

Completed higher education in medical, pharmaceutical, or related health sciences; valid Category B driving licence; working knowledge of English; proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM systems; strong presentation, communication, negotiation, planning, and teamwork skills.

Description of work tasks:

  • Achieve and, where possible, exceed the agreed sales targets for the assigned product portfolio and territory-Kosovo.
  • Plan and execute field activities in line with the approved monthly, quarterly, and annual plans, priorities, and routes.
  • Segment and prioritize customers in categories A, B, and C based on business potential, relevance, and approved commercial criteria.
  • Conduct regular, structured visits to general practitioners, internists, other relevant healthcare professionals, and pharmacists.
  • Identify and develop new business opportunities and expand the active customer base within the assigned territory.
  • Build and maintain professional, ethical, and long-term relationships with customers and other relevant stakeholders.
  • Present approved product information clearly, accurately, and in accordance with the approved promotional materials and applicable requirements.
  • Prepare, update, and deliver presentations for existing and new products, subject to prior internal approval.
  • Monitor customer needs, respond appropriately to enquiries, and ensure complaints are recorded and escalated through the approved internal process.
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of the assigned products, therapeutic areas, market developments, competitors, and sales techniques.
  • Collect and communicate relevant market, customer, product, and competitor insights to the Marketing and Sales Manager.
  •  Maintain regular contact with pharmacies and support commercial cooperation, availability, and order development in accordance with approved terms and authorizations.
  • Participate actively in sales and marketing meetings, training sessions, cycle meetings, and other relevant company activities.
  • Prepare accurate and timely weekly activity reports and maintain complete, current, and reliable customer and visit data in the CRM system.
  • Monitor business email and other approved communication channels regularly and respond within the required internal timelines.
  • Manage the assigned territory, working time, travel schedule, and company resources efficiently and responsibly.
  • Comply with applicable legislation, ethical standards, internal policies, quality requirements, data protection rules, and pharmacovigilance procedures.
  • Immediately report any adverse event, product quality complaint, or other safety-related information through the approved company process.
  • Protect confidential company and customer information and use company assets solely for authorized business purposes.
  • Perform other related duties assigned by the Marketing and Sales Manager, consistent with the role, qualifications, and applicable regulations.

Responsibility for the work:

  • Responsible for the effective execution of approved marketing and sales activities for the assigned pharmaceutical portfolio and territory.
  • Accountable for achieving agreed objectives and for the accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of reports and CRM records.
  • Responsible for compliance with applicable legislation, ethical standards, organizational rules, internal procedures, and quality requirements.
  • Responsible for lawful, professional, and ethical conduct in all interactions with customers, healthcare professionals, colleagues, and business partners.
  • Reports to the Marketing and Sales Manager and promptly escalates material risks, complaints, safety information, and deviations.
