JOB DESCRIPTION

Responsibilities:

Norwegian People’s Aid (NPA) is seeking a qualified and motivated Survey to support the implementation of a reconciliation and social cohesion project in Zubin Potok municipality. The project focuses on strengthening inter-community trust, improving communication between communities and local institutions, and supporting inclusive dialogue and community cooperation initiatives. 

The Surveys will support the overall coordination and implementation of project officer. The position requires close cooperation with municipal representatives, community leaders, civil society organizations, and local communities.

 General responsibilities:

The Surveys shall assist the Project Officer with:

  • With data collected from a desktop study in preparation for community-level IA
  • Conduct village interviews as per project plan.
  • Work in close cooperation with Project Officer to secure accuracy and updates of municipality data
  • Assist in maintaining regular communication and coordination with municipalities, communities, CSOs, and other stakeholders; 
  • Assist monitoring, reporting, documentation, and activity tracking; 
  • Assist with survey supervision, data verification, and field coordination; 
  • Support preparation of meeting reports, meeting minutes, briefing materials, and donor-related documentation; 
  • Participate in regular coordination and planning meetings with the project team.

 

Perform other duties as assigned by line manager. 

Qualifications and Experience:

  • High School diploma.
  • Experience working in multi-ethnic or sensitive environments is considered an advantage; 
  • Strong organizational, communication, and facilitation skills; 
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team; 
  • Good computer skills, including MS Office applications; 
  • Fluency in Serbian language is mandatory; 
  • Good command of English is required; 
  • Knowledge of Albanian language is considered an asset. 
  • Valid of driving license B category – manual transmission.
