The Opportunity
We are looking for an experienced .NET Developer to join our growing team in Kosovo.
This role is ideal for someone with strong backend development experience who is confident taking ownership of backend systems and server infrastructure for our web and mobile applications.
You will be responsible for the full backend stack, from API development and database management to deployment pipelines, domain management, and VPS maintenance. This is a fully backend-focused role, with no front-end development required.
Key Responsibilities
- Build, develop, and maintain APIs using .NET 10 and C#.
- Manage and maintain PostgreSQL databases using pgAdmin 4.
- Manage database remote access, backups, maintenance, and performance.
- Manage application deployments and server infrastructure hosted on DigitalOcean Droplets (VPS).
- Perform Linux server administration and maintenance via SSH / PuTTY.
- Maintain and improve CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions.
- Manage domains, subdomains, and DNS configuration through 123Reg.
- Monitor backend services and server environments to ensure reliability and performance.
- Troubleshoot and resolve backend, database, deployment, and server-related issues.
- Maintain clear and accurate technical documentation for backend systems and infrastructure.
Requirements
- Solid professional experience with .NET, C#, and API development.
- Strong understanding of backend application development and architecture.
- Experience working with PostgreSQL databases and pgAdmin 4.
- Experience with database remote access, backups, maintenance, and performance.
- Comfortable with Linux server administration via SSH.
- Experience managing and maintaining VPS/server environments.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and GitHub Actions.
- Good understanding of DNS, domain, and subdomain management.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to take ownership of backend systems and work independently.
- Excellent organisational and communication skills.
- Fluent in spoken and written English.
