About the Role
As AI Product Owner you take independent technical ownership of client projects and deliver them together with our internal AI developer team as well as an Account Manager. The position is client-facing from the first gathering of AI project requirements (range from process automation to building up AI-native platforms) through implementation and go-live. The commercial relationship – winning the client and maintaining contracts and account health – remains with the sales & account team.
Your Responsibilities

Take independent technical ownership of your assigned project portfolio: analyze client requirements and develop viable solution approaches, documented as a solution concept per project.
Own execution of the project delivery plan – phases, milestones and timeline – and run the Weekly Progress Update process.
Lead the Discovery & Requirements meetings with the clients and translate client input into a structured, buildable scope.
Define user stories, acceptance criteria, and priorities.
Plan and prioritize sprints together with the AI development team.
Translate scope into work packages, maintain and prioritize the backlog, and provide technical guidance to the local development team.
Ensure alignment between business objectives and technical implementation.
Monitor development progress against the agreed requirements and acceptance criteria; coordinate UAT with the client and track defects through to resolution.
Carry out technical review and acceptance of work results against the defined standards
Act as the technical point of contact for the client during implementation, including weekly minutes and status reports.
Lead product demos, reviews, and stakeholder discussions.
Support pre-sales with feasibility and effort estimation for assigned opportunities.
Support the continuous improvement of AI products and internal AI capabilities.

What We Require from You

Experience as a Product Owner, Product Manager, or similar role.
Experience working with AI, software, or data-driven products.
Good understanding of AI/ML, Generative AI, LLMs, and AI-powered applications.
Experience coordinating technical or cross-functional teams.
Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum product development.
Experience with backlog management, user stories, and prioritization.
Strong stakeholder and requirements-management skills.
Experience owning delivery end-to-end in a client-facing role, including requirements meetings, UAT, acceptance and change requests.
Ability to bridge business requirements and technical teams.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and organizational skills.
Proactive approach with strong ownership and leadership capabilities.
Excellent English; German is a strong advantage.
