We are pleased to announce an open position for Head of Financial Control, offering candidates the opportunity to become part of our partner’s team in Libya. Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and maintain accurate financial reports, budgets, and forecasts in accordance with company policies.
- Monitor budget performance and assist in the preparation of financial plans and variance analyses.
- Perform financial analysis and provide insights to support business decision-making.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards, legal regulations, and internal financial procedures.
- Execute and maintain internal control processes to safeguard company assets and minimize financial risks.
- Analyze costs, identify variances, and recommend opportunities for improving financial performance.
- Assist with internal and external audits by preparing documentation and responding to auditor requests.
- Liaise with banks, regulatory authorities, and other external stakeholders on routine financial matters.
- Support the Head of Finance by providing timely financial information, reports, and analytical recommendations.
- Maintain accurate financial records and contribute to the continuous improvement of financial processes and reporting.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in financial controlling, accounting, financial reporting, or a similar finance role.
- Hands-on experience working with ERP systems (such as SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, or similar) and other financial management software.
- Strong understanding of financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and internal control processes.
- Professional proficiency in English, both written and spoken.
