Job Title: Import, Trade and Compliance Manager
Location: Muharrem Fejza, Pristina (On-site)
Working Hours: 15:00 - 23:00 (local time)
LS Global specializes in optimizing business operations worldwide through expert outsourcing. We are currently recruiting for one of our clients for an Import, Trade and Compliance Manager position. The Import Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing all aspects of the importation process, ensuring compliance with international trade regulations, optimizing supply chain efficiency, and maintaining cost-effectiveness. This role involves collaboration with suppliers, logistics providers, and internal departments to guarantee timely delivery of goods.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage freight forwarder (3PL) programs and coordinate logistics activities.
- Support import/export operations, documentation, and compliance requirements.
- Assist with import planning and coordination with merchandising teams.
- Develop and support strategies to improve supply chain processes and efficiency.
- Support program implementation and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with trade regulations, customs requirements, and clearance processes.
- Evaluate costs, pricing, and operational risks to support business decisions.
- Maintain relationships with internal teams and external partners through communication, reporting, and training.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field.
- Licensed Broker preferred.
- 5+ years of experience, including experience in retail, import operations, or global trade compliance.
- Excellent English communication skills (C1 level or higher).
- Experience developing and managing import programs.
- Knowledge of SLI, CI, IMDG, and classification processes.
- Experience supporting Free Trade Zones preferred.
- Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience with relevant software, systems, and technology platforms
