We are pleased to announce an opening for the position of Fire Safety and Emergency Preparedness Officer, offering candidates the opportunity to join the team of our partners in Libya. This role provides the opportunity to work on significant international projects and gain valuable international experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop fire safety policies and conduct fire risk assessments.
- Implement emergency response and evacuation plans.
- Coordinate emergency drills, fire simulations, and training sessions.
- Inspect firefighting equipment, fire alarms, and fire suppression systems.
- Cooperate with civil protection authorities and emergency response agencies.
- Support incident investigations and corrective actions.
- Promote fire safety awareness and training programs.
- Ensure compliance with fire safety and emergency preparedness regulations.
- Coordinate emergency procedures for zoo facilities and animals.
- Support crowd safety during events and peak visitor periods.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in any field..
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant professional experience.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
