Role Description - Senior Credit Analyst is a full-time, on-site position based in Pristina. The role is responsible for identifying potential loan clients, assessing credit applications, collecting, analyzing, and verifying borrower information, and evaluating the creditworthiness of individuals and businesses.
Key responsibilities include preparing and analyzing financial statements, assessing credit risk by considering the applicant's character, business stability, market conditions, seasonal factors, and industry information, as well as recommending appropriate lending decisions. The Senior Credit Analyst is also responsible for building and managing a strong client portfolio, maintaining long-term professional relationships with clients, and successfully monitoring the repayment cycle of approved loans.
The role requires monitoring market trends and developments, ensuring compliance with internal credit policies and procedures, and providing analytical insights to support sound credit decisions. In addition, the Senior Credit Analyst provides daily training and mentoring to newly hired Credit Officers, facilitating their integration into the institution and supporting their professional development.
Qualifications

Ability to build and maintain strong client relationships and manage a quality credit portfolio 
Strong knowledge of Credit Analysis and Credit Risk Assessment.
Solid finance knowledge with experience in financial statement analysis, risk evaluation, and lending decisions.
Advanced analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in credit analysis or a similar role within a financial institution; 5 or more years of relevant experience is an advantage.
Experience in evaluating the creditworthiness of individuals and businesses and preparing financial statements and credit reports.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, financial analysis tools, and credit risk management systems.
High level of integrity, attention to detail, and sound decision-making skills.
Valid driver's license.
