Head of Marketing Unit

The Head of Marketing Unit is responsible for strengthening the bank’s brand, supporting customer acquisition and engagement, and driving adoption of the bank’s products and digital channels. The role requires a hands-on, data-driven marketer who understands customer behavior, creates clear and customer-focused communication, and delivers measurable results. The position collaborates closely with Sales, Product, Contact Centre, and the Branch Network to ensure aligned messaging and effective campaigns.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage assigned digital banking channels, ensuring strong performance, usability and availability for clients.
  • Own channel usage, penetration and performance, identifying and fixing drop-offs and inefficiencies.
  • Manage and optimize customer journeys per channel, ensuring simple, consistent and intuitive user experience.
  • Act as business owner of the channels, defining requirements and priorities for improvements.
  • Monitor channel KPIs and dashboards (usage, conversion, errors, customer feedback) and take corrective actions.
  • Coordinate with Contact Centre units to ensure smooth handover between digital channels and human support.
  • Support digital sales initiatives through channel-based cross-sell and upsell functionalities.
  • Coordinate with IT, Product and Marketing to ensure timely delivery, correct content and consistent communication across channels.
  • Support testing, rollout and adoption of new features and enhancements.
  • Ensure compliance with internal rules and regulatory requirements related to digital channels.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or related fields. 
  • Proven experience in marketing, brand communication, or growth roles 
  • Strong understanding of customer behavior, segmentation, and customer journeys. 
  • Solid knowledge of digital marketing, UX-oriented communication, and multi-channel campaign execution. 
  • Data-driven approach, with experience using KPIs, analytics, dashboards, and campaign performance tools. 
  • Ability to work effectively with Sales, Product, Contact Centre, and Branch Network teams. 
  • Comfortable working in a performance-oriented and regulated environment. 
  • Strong execution skills with the ability to translate strategy into actionable campaigns.

  • Minimum 3–5 years of relevant experience in marketing, brand communication or digital marketing roles.
