MB-800 Dynamics 365 Business Central Functional Consultant Associate
The MB-800 certification qualifies the individual as a Dynamics 365 Business Central Functional Consultant.
This expert is responsible for the implementation and configuration of the Business Central ERP solution in mid-sized companies, with a strong focus on optimal coverage of business processes.
- Setup and configuration of a new Business Central system, including company setup and data migration
- Detailed configuration of financial modules (chart of accounts, VAT/tax, banks, dimensions, and reporting)
- Setup and optimization of processes in Sales, Purchasing, Inventory, and Manufacturing
- Configuration of Fixed Assets and other core functionalities
- Customization of Role Centers, dashboards, and user interfaces to meet individual user needs
- Basic integrations with Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate) and external systems
- Conducting training sessions, User Acceptance Testing (UAT), and support during Go-Live and Hypercare phases
- Close collaboration with the project team and specialist departments for requirements gathering and process optimization
- Dynamics 365 Business Central Developer (MB-820)
The MB-820 certification positions the individual as a Dynamics 365 Business Central Developer.
This role involves the technical extension and customization of the standard software using the AL programming language.
- Development of extensions for Business Central using the AL language
- Creation and customization of tables, pages, reports, codeunits, and XMLports
- Implementation of business logic, events, and integrations with external systems (e.g., via web services or APIs)
- Use of development tools such as Visual Studio Code and efficient debugging
- Knowledge of Application Lifecycle Management (ALM), source control, and CI/CD for Business Central
- Integration of Business Central with Microsoft Power Platform and Azure services
- Performance optimization and adherence to best practices for scalable solutions
- Support with upgrades and migrations to new versions of Business Central,
