Payroll Specialist
Our Kosovo Outsourcing Centre is growing, and we are looking for a dynamic, career-oriented individual to join our Accounting Department for the position of Payroll Specialist.
Job Description:
- Process monthly payroll for Kosovo clients
- Process international payrolls for foreign clients
- Prepare compulsory reports for local authorities
- Ensure compliance with local, regional, and international tax and accounting regulations
- Represent clients before relevant local institutions and authorities
- Provide advisory services on labour, payroll, and accounting matters
- Monitor legislation changes related to social insurance, labour laws, and taxation
- Manage and oversee accounting operations
- Perform accounting data entries and bookkeeping
- Prepare financial statements and analyze financial data
- Manage accounts payable and receivable
- Conduct financial audits
- Provide guidance and support to junior finance team members
- Conduct bank reconciliations
- Collaborate with cross-border finance teams to ensure seamless and efficient service delivery
- Prepare ad hoc reports as requested by management
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) qualification from SCAAK, IKAF, or AAB is required.
- ACCA qualification (completed or in progress) will be considered an advantage.
- 3–5 years of relevant experience is mandatory, with extensive experience and strong knowledge of managing large-scale payrolls highly preferred.
- Strong command of the English language, both written and spoken.
- Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices is preferred
- Proficiency in Pantheon, QuickBooks and NetSuite is highly desirable
- Attention to detail and accuracy in financial reporting
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Very good knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)
