We are pleased to announce an opening for the position of Chief Accountant, offering candidates the opportunity to join the team of our partners in Libya. This role provides the opportunity to work on significant international projects and gain valuable international experience.
Key Responsibilities

Oversee accounting processes and maintain the general ledger.
Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
Review daily revenues and reconcile POS reports.
Manage cash collections, bank deposits, and bank reconciliations.
Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable.
Support budgeting and financial analysis activities.
Maintain the fixed asset register and depreciation records.
Ensure compliance with Libyan tax regulations.
Coordinate internal and external audits.
Lead, supervise, and develop the accounting team.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Economics, Accounting, or a related field.
Minimum of 5 years of relevant professional experience.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
