COUNTRY MANAGER – KOSOVO

As part of our strategic expansion and further regional development, we are looking for an experienced and ambitious professional to join our team as Country Manager – Kosovo. This role represents a key leadership position responsible for driving business growth, strengthening our market presence, and contributing to the achievement of Replek’s strategic objectives in Kosovo.

Required Qualifications

  • University degree in Pharmaceutical Sciences, Medicine, Dentistry, or another relevant field.
  • Minimum 5–7 years of professional experience in a managerial/leadership position within the pharmaceutical industry.
  • Proven experience in managing commercial operations, sales, marketing, business development, and market expansion activities.
  • Strong experience in pharmaceutical portfolio management, including market analysis, product positioning, lifecycle management, launch planning, and portfolio growth strategies.
  • Experience in strategic planning, budgeting, financial performance management, and P&L responsibility.
  • Strong understanding of the pharmaceutical market, healthcare ecosystem, regulatory environment, and key stakeholders in Kosovo.
  • Proven leadership capabilities with experience in building, motivating, coaching, and developing high-performing teams.
  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills, with the ability to make business decisions based on market insights, sales data, and performance indicators.
  • Experience in managing relationships with key customers, distributors, healthcare institutions, pharmacy chains, and strategic partners.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Fluency in English, both written and spoken.

Advantage will be considered:

  • Experience working with international pharmaceutical companies or regional markets.
  • Experience in launching new products and developing pharmaceutical brands.
  • Knowledge of commercial excellence principles, including Revenue Growth Management and market optimization strategies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute the overall commercial strategy for Replek in Kosovo, aligned with company objectives and growth priorities.
  • Take ownership of the overall business performance in Kosovo, ensuring achievement of financial, commercial, and strategic targets.
  • Manage and develop the pharmaceutical portfolio to maximize market opportunities, growth potential, and long-term sustainability.
  • Lead sales, marketing, and business development activities, ensuring effective execution and achievement of agreed KPIs.
  • Prepare and implement annual business plans, sales forecasts, budgets, and commercial priorities for the market.
  • Monitor business performance, profitability, market share, and commercial effectiveness, identifying opportunities and implementing improvement actions.
  • Manage P&L performance, ensuring sustainable growth and efficient resource allocation.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers, distributors, healthcare institutions, pharmacy chains, and strategic partners.
  • Identify market trends, competitive activities, and new business opportunities to support portfolio expansion and market growth.
  • Lead negotiations related to commercial agreements, pricing strategies, promotional activities, and strategic partnerships.
  • Ensure compliance with pharmaceutical regulations, ethical standards, and company policies.
  • Lead, coach, and develop the local team while ensuring effective collaboration with cross-functional teams across Replek.
