About the Position
We are looking for a Site Architect to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the architectural aspects of construction projects on site, ensuring that projects are executed accurately, efficiently, and in accordance with the approved designs.
The role also includes providing shop drawings, as-built drawings, working drawings, and any other technical drawings that may be required on site.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise the architectural phase of construction projects, ensuring compliance with design, quality, and safety standards.
- Interpret and implement architectural drawings and specifications on site, making adjustments where necessary to address practical site-related issues.
- Conduct site inspections, manage design changes, and maintain accurate project documentation.
- Coordinate with engineers, contractors, subcontractors, and construction teams to ensure proper implementation of architectural designs.
- Prepare and review technical drawings, working drawings, shop drawings, and other documentation required on site.
- Provide practical architectural solutions to site-related issues and support the construction team in resolving technical challenges.
- Ensure that architectural works are executed in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, and project requirements.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Architecture or a related field.
- 2–5+ years of professional experience in architectural design and project management. Experience in site planning and development is highly valued.
- Professional certification and/or licensing is an advantage.
- Strong portfolio demonstrating previous projects, particularly those showing practical site architecture and construction experience.
- Proficiency in software such as AutoCAD, Revit, SketchUp, and other architectural design tools.
- Ability to prepare working drawings and any other technical drawings required on site.
- Good knowledge of construction methods, materials, and practical construction details.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with engineers and construction teams.
- Ability to support project teams and provide clear direction and practical solutions.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work effectively in a fast-paced construction environment.
