Microsoft Azure & Windows Server Hybrid Infrastructure Expert (m/w/d)

Your Responsibilities
- Operate and improve Microsoft Azure infrastructure: subscriptions, resource groups, Virtual Machines, disks, networking, storage, Backup and Monitor
- Administer Windows Server on-premises, in Azure (IaaS) and in hybrid setups
- Run hybrid operations: VPN / ExpressRoute, Microsoft Entra Connect, Azure Arc, Azure File Sync, Windows Admin Center, hybrid update management
- Manage identity: Active Directory, Group Policy, Entra ID, privileged access
- Day-to-day server operations: patching, hardening, performance, capacity, certificates, troubleshooting
- Backup, disaster recovery and high availability (Azure Backup, Recovery Services, failover concepts)
- Monitor with Azure Monitor, Update Manager, Defender for Cloud / Defender for Identity
- Automate with PowerShell (Bicep / Terraform a plus)
- Document runbooks and support German client IT teams during incidents, projects and migrations
- Contribute to cloud-on-premises modernization and workload moves to Azure
Your Profile
- Several years of hands-on Windows Server / Azure infrastructure experience (typically 4+)
- Strong Windows Server skills (2019 / 2022 / current): AD DS, DNS, DHCP, GPO, Hyper-V or comparable virtualization, file services
- Strong Azure IaaS skills: VMs, VNets, NSGs, storage, Backup, Monitor, RBAC
- Real hybrid experience (cloud + on-premises)
- Solid PowerShell
- Excellent English (mandatory)
- German is an advantage, not a must
- AZ-104 plus AZ-800/AZ-801 or AZ-802 (or equivalent experience + fast certification)
- Plus: AZ-305, AZ-500, AZ-700, Azure Arc, Azure File Sync, Entra Connect, Intune/hybrid join
