Job Description
What are we looking for?
We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Video Editor to join our team. This role involves editing video content, developing animations, and creating visually compelling designs to support multimedia projects.

Main Responsibilities

Edit video pieces
Trim video segments and assemble the sequence of the videos
Reorder and fine-tune the video content to ensure logical sequencing and smooth running of the videos
Evaluate and review edited video footage to ensure that it matches the story from different scripts
Evaluate and review edited video footage to ensure that it matches the narrative of the Product Development Director
Combine video footage with different audio sound effects and soundtracks to create a dramatic effect
Develop animations for video footages
Perform video color correction
Participate in video recording sessions
Develop design briefs by gathering information and data through research
Think creatively to produce new ideas and concepts
Use innovation to redefine a design brief within the constraints of cost and time
Contribute with ideas and design artwork to the overall brief
Keep abreast of emerging technologies in new media, particularly design programs such as After Effects and Premiere Pro
Organize and manage multiple projects in various stages of progress
Present and pitch ideas, briefs, and concepts to various parties
Develop an understanding of the target audience and the market
Work cohesively within a multi-departmental team that is responsible for the research, development, and launch of new products
Translate objectives into creative strategies
Contribute to the implementation of new initiatives
Perform other related duties as assigned by the management

Requirements

A degree in Graphic Design or related field; or a combination of equivalent experience and/or education
Excellent written and spoken English communication skills
2+ years of professional experience in video editing and graphic design
Knowledge of Adobe programs (After Effects, Premiere Pro) is mandatory
Knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) is mandatory
Proficiency in macOS (Apple) operating system
Ability to work effectively with people at various levels throughout the organization
Must work well under pressure, grasp new ideas quickly, think outside the box, and be able to follow-up in a dynamic environment
Must have strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to multi-task in a high pace, dynamic environment
Possesses good verbal and written communication skills with the ability to present work from concept to final execution
Willing to learn and grow as well as to challenge and contribute to ideas
Strong multi-tasking skills in a fast-paced work environment
Work well independently with minimum supervision
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Excellent interpersonal skills
Strong attention to detail
Adaptability to a changing and fast-paced work environment
Be open to receiving feedback and constructive criticism, and make improvement on the tasks as requested
Have working knowledge or prior experience in designing animation and motion graphics is an advantage
