STIKK is seeking a qualified, experienced, and highly motivated professional to join its team as Project Manager.
POSITION OVERVIEW
The Project Manager will be responsible for the effective planning, coordination, implementation, monitoring, and reporting of assigned projects. The successful candidate will ensure that project activities and results are delivered on time, within the approved budget, and in full compliance with contractual obligations, donor requirements, and STIKK’s internal policies and procedures.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
The Project Manager will be expected to:
- Plan, coordinate, and oversee assigned projects throughout the full project cycle, from initiation to closure.
- Prepare and regularly update project work plans, implementation schedules, budgets, monitoring frameworks, and risk registers.
- Ensure the timely and high-quality delivery of project activities, outputs, results, and contractual commitments.
- Monitor progress against approved indicators, timelines, and budgets, identify deviations, and propose appropriate corrective measures.
- Prepare high-quality narrative reports, progress updates, presentations, meeting records, and other project documentation.
- Work closely with STIKK’s finance and administration team to ensure sound budget management, expenditure monitoring, procurement, and maintenance of complete supporting documentation.
- Ensure compliance with donor rules, contractual requirements, applicable legislation, and STIKK’s internal procedures.
- Coordinate project staff, external experts, service providers, beneficiaries, partner organizations, and other relevant stakeholders.
- Maintain effective professional relationships with donors, public institutions, private-sector representatives, civil society organizations, educational institutions, and international partners.
- Organize and oversee conferences, workshops, training sessions, meetings, networking activities, and other project events.
- Maintain complete, accurate, and well-organized project files, evidence, participant records, and supporting documentation.
- Identify, assess, and manage project risks, challenges, dependencies, and changes.
- Support project communication and visibility activities in coordination with relevant colleagues and in accordance with applicable donor requirements.
- Contribute to the development of concept notes, project proposals, budgets, partnership arrangements, and new funding opportunities.
- Represent STIKK at relevant meetings, events, working groups, and coordination forums.
- Perform other project-related duties reasonably assigned by the Executive Director.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE
Candidates must meet the following requirements:
- A university degree in project management, business administration, economics, public administration, social sciences, development studies, information and communication technology, or another relevant field. A postgraduate degree will be considered an advantage.
- At least five (5) years of relevant professional experience in project management or senior project coordination.
- Demonstrated experience working with non-governmental organizations, associations, civil society organizations, development organizations, or similar institutions.
- Proven experience implementing donor-funded projects supported by the European Union, bilateral donors, development agencies, international organizations, or comparable funding institutions.
- Strong experience in project planning, implementation, monitoring, evaluation, reporting, and project closure.
- Practical experience in budget planning and monitoring, procurement coordination, contract administration, and compliance with donor procedures.
- Experience coordinating multidisciplinary teams, external experts, institutional partners, beneficiaries, and multiple stakeholders.
- Sound knowledge of project-cycle management, results-based management, logical frameworks, indicators, and risk management.
- Excellent report-writing, communication, presentation, and stakeholder-management skills.
- Excellent written and spoken Albanian and English. Knowledge of Serbian or another relevant language will be considered an advantage.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with digital project-management and collaboration tools.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, work under pressure, and meet strict deadlines while maintaining a high level of accuracy.

INTERNSHIP OVERVIEW
This paid internship offers an excellent opportunity for a current Bachelor student or a recent graduate in Finance, Accounting, or a related field to gain practical experience in a professional environment. The selected intern will work closely with the Finance Manager and support day-to-day financial and accounting activities, reporting, budgeting, reconciliations, compliance, and other finance-related tasks. The internship may also offer the possibility of future employment based on performance and organizational needs.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
The Finance Intern will be expected to:
- Support financial data entry and maintain accurate records of financial transactions.
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements, reports, and budgets.
- Support financial analysis, including variance analysis and trend identification.
- Assist with account reconciliations, identify discrepancies, and support their resolution.
- Support month-end and year-end closing activities.
- Assist in the preparation of tax filings, compliance documentation, and supporting records.
- Support project financial documentation, filing, and organization of invoices and payment records.
- Participate in ad-hoc financial projects and other assignments as needed.
- Keep up to date with relevant financial regulations and good accounting practices.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Candidates should meet the following requirements:
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field, or having recently completed a Bachelor’s degree in one of these fields.
- Good understanding of basic financial principles, accounting concepts, and financial statements. • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel and general digital office tools.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills and willingness to work collaboratively with the team. • Ability to organize tasks, manage time effectively, and meet deadlines.
- Professional and ethical conduct, including discretion when handling confidential financial information.
