- Senior Legal Associate
We are looking for an experienced and highly motivated candidate to join our team as a Senior Legal Associate.
The selected candidate must be able to work independently, provide sound legal advice on a range of corporate, commercial, contractual, employment, administrative, and litigation matters, and build and maintain productive relationships with clients.
The Senior Legal Associate will assist in managing a diverse client portfolio, identify client needs, propose appropriate legal strategies, and represent clients in meetings, administrative proceedings, and court proceedings.
Main duties and responsibilities include:
- Drafting, reviewing, analyzing, and assisting in the development, maintenance, tracking, compliance, and administration of contracts and other legal documents;
- Preparing statements of defense, submissions, closing arguments, and litigation strategies;
- Representing clients in court independently or together with senior attorneys;
- Providing legal analysis and conducting legal research on various legal matters;
- Drafting and reviewing legal documents, client policies, procedures, and internal acts;
- Communicating closely with the Managing Partner to ensure efficient handling of court and administrative cases;
- Providing consistent, high-quality legal advice to clients and business partners;
- Maintaining strong knowledge of applicable legislation and legal practice;
- Preparing reports to keep clients informed on case developments and assignments;
- Ensuring proper archiving of documents, contracts, corporate documents, and official records of clients and the firm.
Minimum requirements:
- Bachelor Degree in Law;
- Bar Exam will be considered a strong advantage;
- At least 5 years of working experience, including at least 3 years of experience in the legal profession;
- Ability to handle a heavy caseload with little or no supervision;
- Strong legal writing, verbal communication, time management, and interpersonal skills;
- Excellent knowledge of Albanian and English.
Other requirements:
- Ability to work independently and take initiative;
- Good interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team;
- Ability to perform administrative tasks efficiently;
- Excellent computer skills, including MS Office and PowerPoint;
- Driving license, category B.
Lawyer Candidate / Intern
We are also looking for a motivated candidate who is willing to be registered and trained for the purpose of undertaking the Bar Exam and becoming a qualified lawyer. The position is offered for one year, corresponding to the mandatory internship period required under Law No. 04/L-193 on the Bar, with the possibility of extension and promotion within the firm.
This is a paid internship position.
The Lawyer Candidate / Intern will assist the Managing Partner and Attorneys in managing a diverse portfolio of clients, participate in meetings, support court and administrative procedures, and assist in the preparation of legal documents and case files.
Main duties and responsibilities include:
- Conducting legal research on legislation, case law, regulations, and legal literature relevant to ongoing cases and projects;
- Assisting in drafting legal documents, including claims, notices, submissions, contracts, legal opinions, and memoranda, under the supervision of senior attorneys;
- Assisting with trial preparation, including organizing exhibits and preparing procedural documents;
- Communicating closely with the Managing Partner and Attorneys to ensure efficient handling of court and administrative cases;
- Preparing reports to keep clients informed on case developments and assignments;
- Representing clients before administrative bodies, as requested by the Managing Partner or Attorneys;
- Providing administrative support, including filing, organizing case files, and managing correspondence;
- Ensuring proper archiving of documents, contracts, corporate documents, and official records of clients and the firm;
- Performing other duties as required.
Minimum requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Law;
- Previous work experience will be considered an advantage;
- Ability to handle a heavy caseload;
- Strong legal writing, verbal communication, time management, and interpersonal skills;
- Excellent knowledge of Albanian and English.
