Consolidation Accountant
Our Kosovo office is growing, and we are looking for a detail-oriented individual to join our Accounting Department as a Consolidation Accountant.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing the consolidation of financial statements across multiple entities, ensuring compliance with applicable accounting standards, and supporting accurate and timely financial reporting. The ideal candidate will possess strong accounting knowledge, excellent analytical skills, and experience in financial consolidation processes.
Job description:
- Perform intercompany reconciliations and elimination entries.
- Ensure compliance with applicable accounting standards and company policies.
- Analyse financial data and identify variances across group entities.
- Coordinate with finance teams across different business units for timely reporting.
- Assist with statutory audits and provide required documentation.
- Maintain consolidation schedules and supporting working papers.
- Ensure accuracy and completeness of financial information submitted by subsidiaries.
- Assist in process improvement initiatives and automation of reporting activities.
Requirements:
- CA / ACCA qualification completed (Recently Qualified).
- 2–5 years of experience in financial accounting, reporting, or consolidation.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial statements.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and ERP systems.
- Experience with consolidation and reporting tools is an advantage.
- Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Knowledge of IFRS.
- Experience in handling multi-entity or group accounting structures.
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines and work independently.
- Attention to detail and high level of accuracy.
