Job Overview
As a Bid Manager – GSM Nearshore, you will lead the end-to-end bid process for complex, high-value opportunities across the German-Speaking Market. Acting as the central point of accountability, you will drive bid strategy, ensure compliance and proposal quality, and coordinate cross-functional teams to maximize win probability. Working closely with Sales, Solution Consultants, Subject Matter Experts, and Legal, you will also leverage AI-powered tools to improve proposal quality, efficiency, and overall bid performance.
Key Responsibilities and Accountabilities
- Lead the full bid lifecycle, from opportunity qualification through submission and handover.
- Support bid qualification and bid/no-bid decision-making processes.
- Analyze RFPs, client requirements, evaluation criteria, and identify key win themes.
- Define bid strategies and facilitate bid kick-off meetings with cross-functional stakeholders.
- Develop bid plans, coordinate contributors, monitor progress, and ensure timely delivery of high-quality proposals.
- Identify potential risks, drive mitigation actions, and escalate issues when necessary.
- Review, edit, and consolidate contributions from Subject Matter Experts to ensure compelling, compliant, and customer-focused proposals.
- Manage proposal version control, Q&A submissions, and final quality assurance before submission.
- Coordinate proposal design, client presentations, and supporting pitch materials.
- Drive stakeholder accountability, governance, approvals, and effective communication throughout the bid process.
- Utilize AI-powered tools to improve proposal generation, compliance, and content reuse.
- Analyze bid outcomes and implement continuous improvement initiatives to increase future win rates.
Your Profile
- Minimum of 2–3 years of experience in Bid Management, Proposal Management, Project Management, or a similar role within BPO, Customer Experience, Technology, Professional Services, or a related industry.
- Experience managing complex, cross-functional bids in a fast-paced environment; international or enterprise bid experience is considered an advantage.
- Strong project management skills, including planning, scheduling, stakeholder coordination, risk management, and delivery under tight deadlines.
- Proven ability to influence stakeholders and lead cross-functional teams without direct reporting authority.
- Experience analyzing RFPs, developing bid strategies, ensuring compliance, and delivering high-quality proposals.
- Excellent proposal writing, editing, and quality assurance skills.
- Familiarity with AI-enabled bid management tools and automation technologies is an advantage.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly PowerPoint and Excel.
- Native-level German language skills with excellent written and spoken English.
- Strong communication and presentation skills, with the ability to develop compelling customer-focused proposals.
- Highly organized, detail-oriented, proactive, and able to perform effectively under pressure while managing multiple priorities.
