Job Description:
Prepare the restaurant/bar for service; serve food and beverages to guests; maintain the cleanliness of the work area and equipment; carry out tasks assigned by supervisors; and coordinate with colleagues in all food and beverage service operations.
Key Areas of Work and Responsibilities:

Complete assigned duties and tasks promptly and to a high standard
Take responsibility for materials and financial matters within the role
Comply with all prescribed work procedures, operational standards, and rules of conduct
Prepare the work area and equipment and properly maintain restaurant inventory
Know all menu items, food, and beverages, and check the daily offerings, food menu, and drinks list
Welcome and seat guests
Recommend and suggest food and beverages to guests
Take food and beverage orders and serve guests
Process guest payments in accordance with hotel payment and pricing policies
See guests off
Clean and organize the work area and equipment after guests leave
Maintain personal hygiene and a neat appearance
Behave courteously and politely toward guests
Apply occupational health and safety measures
Take responsibility for the quality of service provided
Ensure compliance with health and sanitation standards
Use energy, materials, and time efficiently
Cooperate with colleagues
Perform duties assigned by the Head Waiter and Restaurant Manager

Required Education, Experience, Skills and Abilities:

At least 2 years of work experience in the same or a similar role

Skills and Abilities:

Commitment to guests and high-quality service
Computer literacy
English language proficiency
