Job Description

The Electrical Engineer will be responsible for reviewing and approving technical documentation for high-voltage, medium-voltage, and low-voltage electrical systems, ensuring strict compliance with project standards, safety regulations, and project requirements.

The role includes regular site visits to monitor the quality of executed works, assess site conditions, verify compliance between the documentation and actual site conditions, and work closely with multidisciplinary teams to resolve technical issues and ensure the proper implementation of electrical systems.

The position also involves reviewing and approving technical submittals, shop drawings, and as-built drawings, maintaining accurate technical records, and monitoring compliance with applicable standards and regulations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Review and approve technical and design documentation for electrical systems across various voltage levels.
  • Conduct regular site visits to monitor the quality of executed works and collect data required for reporting and documentation verification.
  • Collaborate with design and construction teams to resolve technical challenges and ensure the efficient implementation of electrical systems.
  • Review electrical submittals, shop drawings, and as-built drawings for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with project requirements.
  • Maintain, organize, and archive technical documentation in accordance with company procedures and project requirements.
  • Monitor compliance with relevant international standards and regulations, including IEC, IEEE, and NEC.
  • Apply best engineering practices and actively participate in resolving technical issues throughout the project.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering – mandatory.
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant professional experience working on various types of projects/buildings.
  • Good knowledge of international standards and codes, particularly IEC, IEEE, and NEC.
  • Willingness to work on-site and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
  • Strong sense of responsibility, attention to detail, and systematic approach to work.
  • Ability to independently resolve technical issues and make decisions within the scope of assigned responsibilities.
  • Good command of English is an advantage.
