We’re growing faster than ever and are on the lookout for an experienced recruiter to become part of our awesome team. Who are we?
Povio is an international company from San Francisco, founded by former snowboarding champion Matevž Petek, recommended by the founder of Reddit Alexis Ohanian, and tested by Serena Williams. We are working with startups from Silicon Valley and multinational enterprises to design and develop both mobile & web projects. As part of the Povio team, you will have the opportunity to peek inside the world's best young startups and work among world-class talent.

Your tasks will include:

  • Sourcing potential candidates using various methods and technologies.
  • Improving sourcing by selecting different channels and utilizing them in the best way.
  • Interacting with potential candidates on social media and professional networks.
  • Craft recruiting emails to attract passive candidates.
  • Scheduling and conducting primary interviews with candidates.
  • Screen incoming resumes and application forms.
  • Driving our recruitment processes to ensure their speed, efficiency, humanity, and most importantly, the accuracy of selection.
  • Ensuring our candidate selection is done in line with our core principles: culture fit, strive for improvements, team mentality, kindness, etc.
  • Ensuring that all candidates have a great experience going through our recruitment process.
  • Using recruiting software to track potential candidates.

You should have:

  • 1 year of proven work experience as a recruiter or similar role (working in an IT environment is an advantage).
  • BSc in Sociology (Human Resource Management, Management of organizations, human resources and knowledge), Psychology, Business (Marketing, Management), Communications or other relevant fields is an advantage.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Advanced knowledge of English.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Experience with sourcing techniques.
  • Commitment to quality.
  • Organizational and critical-thinking skills.
  • Ability to give and receive feedback and constant desire to improve.
  • Ability to take smart risks and champion new ideas.
