DATA ANALYST

Job brief:
FINCA Kosovo is looking to hire a passionate Data Analyst. The successful candidate will turn data into information, information into insight and insight into business decisions.
Job duties:
Data Analyst responsibilities include conducting full lifecycle analysis using statistical techniques to track historical developments. Data analyst will develop analysis tools that use historical data to help FINCA Kosovo make better business decisions. He/she will also monitor performance and quality control plans to identify areas for improvement.
Responsibilities:

Interpret data, analyze results using statistical techniques and provide ongoing reports to the Management
Develop and implement data bases, data collection systems, data analytics and other strategies
that optimize statistical efficiency and quality
Responsible to access all data sources available within FINCA (Excel Reports, Core System
Databases, External Data sources)
Identify, analyze and interpret trends or pattern in complex data set Work with management to prioritize business and information needs Maintain current reports and create new reports

Requirements:

Technical expertise regarding data models, database design development, data mining and segmentation techniques
Knowledge of statistics and experience using statistical packages for analyzing datasets like R, Python statistical or machine learning libraries, SAS/WPS etc.
Knowledge of SQL is preferred.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.
Good knowledge of Business Intelligence to provide ongoing refinement of processes to improve operations
University Degree in Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, Information Management or Statistics
