Graphic Designer

II. Job Purpose
The Graphic Designer is responsible to create design solutions that have a high visual impact. Designs will be required for a variety of products and activities, such as: brochures, flyers, infographics, catalogues, power point templates, exhibitions, displays, corporate communications and corporate identity.
III. Responsibilities
- Work on a wide variety of graphic design projects
- Develop design briefs by gathering information and data through research
- Think creatively to produce new ideas and concepts
- Use innovation to redefine a design brief within the constraints of cost and time;
- Present finalized ideas and concepts to higher management
- Keep abreast of emerging technologies in new media, particularly design programs such as Illustrator, Photoshop and InDesign
- Formulate design concepts, presentations, templates, layouts, installations and other collateral from initial idea to final execution
- Organize and manage multiple projects in various stages of progress
- Work cohesively within a multi-departmental team that is responsible for the research, development and launch of new products
- Contribute to the implementation of new initiatives
- Perform other related duties as assigned by the management
IV. Skills & Requirements
- Bachelor degree in Graphic Design or related field; or a combination of equivalent experience and/or education
- Minimum of 1-2 years of professional experience in Graphic Design
- Knowledge of Adobe Products (Photoshop and Illustrator) is mandatory
- Proficiency in English (written and verbal)
- Must work well under pressure, grasp new ideas quickly, think outside the box, and be able to follow-up in a dynamic environment
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Attention to detail with excellent organizational skills
- Strong sense of urgency, adaptability, flexibility and resourcefulness
- A consistently positive attitude as well as a high level of enthusiasm and initiative
- Ability to work effectively with people at various levels throughout the organization
- Work well independently with minimum supervision
- Having previous experience in designing infographics, brochures, flyers, power point templates, etc. is an advantage
