STARTING DATE:      6th of July 2020


Advancing Together, supported by UNHCR mission in Kosovo, intends to provide psychosocial support to women, girls and boys, including victims of domestic violence and those mentally burdened due to the COVID-19 pandemic restrictive measures.


  • Provide individual or group counselling sessions to the identified cases through online communication and/or field visits;
  • Report on special needs cases and advise on type of assistance, following discussion with beneficiaries and relevant stakeholders;
  • Refer - in coordination with the management - vulnerable cases to relevant partners/institutions for adequate assistance;
  • Prepare psychosocial assessments and reports to facilitate the production of analysis reports respecting client confidentiality;
  • Support the collection and analysis of sex- and age- disaggregated data, as well as, streamlining the needs assessment, collection and analysis so that it can be more effective in meeting beneficiary needs;
  • Update database and case files on individual developments and ensuring beneficiary data is protected;
  • Ensure confidentiality principles are highly respected;
  • Any other duties assigned by AT in order to meet the objectives of the project.

Required Qualifications

  • University degree in psychology and social sciences, or undergraduate degree with demonstrated strong experience in social work or another related field;
  • Relevant professional experience of not less than 2 (two) years, with emphasis on psychological counselling work in relation to vulnerable populations;
  • High level of interpersonal and communication skills and experience with various stakeholders and actors at various levels;
  • Experience and proven ability to work independently as well as part of a team with people of different ethnicities, religions and cultural backgrounds.

Other qualifications that will be considered as advantage:

  • Excellent written and oral knowledge of English, Albanian and Serbian languages; knowledge of any additional local language will be considered as an advantage;
  • Valid driving license
