International Business Development Manager

For the needs of OXA-GROUP company with its Head Office in Ferizaj Kosovo, we are looking for potential candidates who are eager to work in dynamique environment and challenging responsibilities, for an open job position;

International Business Development Manager

Main duties & Responsibilities:

  • Communicate with key stakeholders, sales and marketing teams to explore international business opportunities related to “Oxa Group” businesses in order to facilitate foreign and domestic investments and prepare project proposal for upcoming investments.
  • Gathering information about potential international partners and clients.
  • Research and build relationships with potential investors, new clients and undertake actions necessary to building lasting business relationships, trust and maintaining such relationships.
  • Monitor and regularly report on key performance indicators and management processes within areas of responsibility and take appropriate action to achieve improved service delivery and business objectives.
  • Regularl meetings with investment analysts and company managers to discuss financial matters.
  • Researching companies, investment banks, investment and asset management companies, stockbrokers, insurance and life assurance companies, banks, private investors and high-networth individuals.
  • Draft diligence summary memos for new investment opportunities.
  • Manage new investment pipeline process (diligence files, track fundraising process and deadlines).
  • Maintain asset diversification and cash flow modeling.
  • Due diligence on new investment opportunities in order to make investment recommendations for the portfolio, as well as assist with portfolio monitoring, sourcing ideas and internal presentations.
  • Reading financial briefings which are often written by investment analysts.
  • Taking informed financial recommendations and decisions.
  • Keeping knowledge up-to-date about the economy, current financial news and financial markets.
  • Assessing and interpreting complicated financial information.
  • Generate leads for investors, sales and marketing materials, according to the scope of company’s business development strategy.
  • Acquire potential international partners and / or investors for joint project development.
  • Build international relationships with potential clients, suppliers and investors.
  • Promote, monitor, analyze and report on the effectiveness of projects to meet strategic and income generation objectives.
  • Develop an understanding of the existing business (including products/services, customers, competitors, the overall market and trends) through careful research and analysis of all business units.
  • Understand how major stakeholders are thinking about the company’s direction, generally and in reference to specific initiatives, through interviews with these stakeholders.
  • Develop accurate benchmarks to guide in the projections.
  • Work alongside the executive team to define the pitch used in investor meetings; practice the pitch with the executives and help the management team preempt investor questions.
  • Pressure test every aspect of the client’s business ahead of fundraising meetings.
  • Work with; financial analysts, business consultants, and other stakeholders to prepare a presentation documents for project development and funding
  • Maintain a project portfolio documentation and database to present on every stage of the project

Professional and Educational requirements:

  • A degree or postgraduate qualification in a management/ business administration/ sales/ marketing subject.
  • Able to speak and write in English to an advanced level. Additional spoken western European languages will be considered as an added value.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
  • A track record of successfully generating income through the development of new business relationships.
  • Experience of identification of customer needs in relation to the provision of bespoke services.
  • Evidence of independent and proactive working, strategic planning and prioritization of business opportunities.
  • Demonstrable ability to deliver to targets and deadlines.
  • Ability to use knowledge of the market and competitors to develop Oxa Group’s business strategy.
  • Ability to effectively plan projects with respect to resources and client requirements (timescales and deliverables).
  • Ability to research prospective leads to identify potential for commercial engagement.
  • An understanding of the needs and requirements of international business development activities.
  • Good MS Word and Excel skills.
  • Passionate about bringing new ideas and a creative approach to business development and operations.
  • Strong administrative and organizational skills, and remarkable attention to details including efficient and effective record and data management.
  • Good problem-solving skills with the ability to find solutions to issues when they arise.
  • Hold a valid passport and be willing and able to undertake travels often, if required.
  • Highly motivated with the drive and determination to succeed.
  • Persistent in achieving goals and overcoming challenges.
  • Flexible and adaptable to change.
  • Practical with high integrity, honesty and ethical standards.
  • Cross cultural sensitivity and experience of working with other cultures.
  • A flexible approach towards working patterns including working weekends and evenings as necessary.
  • Strong judgment, maturity and critical thinking skills.
  • Excellent communication, and ability to articulate and present ideas effectively, both orally and in written form.
  • Ability to multi-task, team-player attitude and a desire to work on a wide range of projects and manage them effectively.
  • Exhibits strong dedication to the job and takes ownership of deliverables.
  • Ability to move quickly up the learning curve.
