ASSISTANT STORE MANAGER

Job description:

  • Sales and Customer Service:
  • Assist in meeting and exceeding store sales goals.
  • Provide an elevated customer service experience, ensuring client satisfaction.
  • Develop and maintain long-term relationships with our clientele.
  • Write sales and customer reports and make recommendations for improvements.
  • Interact with customers and resolve complaints or grievances, handle customer inquiries, complaints, and returns gracefully.

Operations:

  • Help in ensuring daily store operations run smoothly and efficiently.
  • Maintain cleanliness inside the boutique
  • Support in inventory management and ensures stock accuracy.
  • Assist in processing and merchandising new shipments.
  • Write sales and customer reports and make recommendations for improvements
  • Ensure store is maintained at the highest standard of cleanliness and presentation.

Leadership & Staff Development:

  • Support the Store Manager in training and developing staff to maximize potential.
  • Supervise and train staff.
  • Assist in the recruitment, onboarding, and orientation of new staff.
  • Lead by example in terms of dress code, punctuality, and professionalism.
  • Review staff performance and offer constructive feedback
  • Collaborate with team leads on setting and achieving team-specific goals.

Administrative:

  • Support the Store Manager in preparing and analyzing sales reports.
  • Assist in rostering, payroll, and other administrative tasks as needed.
  • Adhere to company policies and procedures

Visual Merchandising:

  • Collaborate with the visual merchandising team to maintain and update store displays to align with brand guidelines.
  • Organize sales and product demonstrations
  • Assist in planning and executing in-store events and promotions.

Job requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in business, Fashion, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in luxury retail management.
  • Previous experience in luxury retail, preferably in a management or supervisory role.
  • Proficient in Point-of-Sale (POS) systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Arabic, fluent English.
  • Familiarity with the latest trends in jewelry and luxury.

  • Assist managers with store reporting, recordkeeping maintenance, claims documentation, program results records, etc.
  • Monitor the store communication systems, ensure that communications are appropriately disseminated, and track the activities related to store assignments.
  • Assist with scheduling, timekeeping, and payroll administration under the guidance of managers.
  • Oversee employee records and files, includes time & attendance records, employment documentation, etc.
  • Maintain the store clean and organized.
  • Set up product displays, restock items, and check out customers.
  • Process purchases and transactions.
  • Assist with returns and exchanges.

STOCK CONTROLLER

Job description:

  • Ensure to properly manage the receipt of the daily goods, to arrange the merchandise following the Corporate procedures, checking and preparing the product to be taken on the sales floor and/or special areas
  • Ensure the safety of the products and the valuable material in the warehouse during the whole handling process.
  • Assure the right product flow tracking through internal system.
  • Always maintain order in the warehouse, according to the Corporate standards.
  • Guarantee the returns, shop-to-shop transfers, and delivery following the corporate guidelines and deadlines.
  • Provide the orders of packaging material according to the store's needs.
  • Check and compare goods received with purchase invoices.
  • Perform physical inventories and keep perpetual inventory records of the quantities of stock on hand.
  • Forecast supply and demand to prevent overstocking and running out-of-stock.
  • Place orders to replenish merchandise as needed
  • Track shipments and address any delays.
  • Oversee storage of products.
  • Coordinate regular inventory audits.
  • Liaise with warehouse staff and other internal teams to test products’ quality (status upon delivery and storage conditions).
  • Keep updated inventory records (including daily shipments).

Job requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in Luxury Retail Management
  • Excellent English - verbal and written
  • Education: Logistics, Business Administration or relevant field
  • Proven work experience as a Stock Controller, Inventory Manager or similar role, 2 years minimum.
  • Active participation in inventory audits.
  • Excellent organization skills.
  • Good understanding of supply chain procedures.
