Contributing to guest satisfaction from the moment the potential guest gets in touch with the hotel by giving efficient reservation service to potential hotel guests. Responsible for managing hotel’s booking in the systems, preparing related reports, maximizing hotel revenue through the implementation of effective pricing and distribution strategies, outperform direct competitors by gaining market share through rational pricing decisions. Be accountable for financial results of the hotel, mainly being revenue and gross operating profit.


  • Responsible for development and implementation of the efficient pricing strategy for the hotel by taking into consideration the characterstics of the hotel, the different market segments, distribution channels as well as pricing strategies of competitor hotels.
  • Effectively manage inventory and pricing strategy in all distribution channels including branded web, 3rd party sites, OTA’s.
  • Formulate Retail Pricing Structure, provide guidance on corporate transient negotiated pricing, group pricing for each group, wholesale pricing and acceptance.
  • Recommend necessary changes in the pricing strategy based on market conditions and competitive data on occupancy/pricing.
  • Preserve the optimum “business mix” for the hotel.
  • Maintain the in-house reservations systems. Ensure that electronic distribution systems always include the correct/relevant pricing.
  • Ensure that pricing categories are created in the optimum way/in accordance with the brand standards.
  • Ensure that hotel information is always up to date in the necessary systems to avoid any risks/problems during reservation procces.
  • Follow up IPS connection and hotel reports on daily basis to avoid any inconsistency in different systems.
  • Manage all hotel revenue and ensure effective implementation of revenue management standards.
  • Develop revenue recognition strategies to maximize company revenue, support revenue maximization and REVPAR maximization.
  • Liaise with tour operators, travel agents, companies and business accounts.
  • Ensure that all standards, policies and procedures related with the brand are implemented and ensure that the pricing policy is inline with the brand policy.
  • Prepare weekly and monthly revenue projection for the hotel.
  • Prepare and regularly update room revenue presentation as part of the monthly and annual business planning process. highlight discrepancies vs. budget and provide financial expertise to Management for revenue improvements.
  • Implement reservation proces and archive information.
  • Manage Daily No Show reservations.
  • Collaborate with the Director of Sales & Marketing in the decision making process of promotion participation and rates.
  • Is in constant communication with the Front Office Team on new pricing plans and package programs.
  • Collaborate with PR to develop hotel visibility in online channels.
  • Manage and ensure resolution of all guest issues and provide training to all new employees (if he/she direct reports) for all policies and procedures.
  • Manages the Reservations Agent effectively (if there is any), giving on the job training, observing performance and giving necessary feedback on continous basis.
  • Update Front Office Team on potential developments in the hotel (e.g. renovation process, closing outlets/new outlets, decoration changes etc.) to make sure those developments do not have any negative impact on the hotel’s operations.
  • Has necessary knowledge on neighbour institutions/activities etc. in addition to all information on hotel’s services, prices and room features/amenities to give relevant information to potential hotel guests when necessary. Make sure that Front Office/Reservations team has the same information.
  • Has necessary knowledge on all hotel’s outlets, menus, times of operation, pricing etc.
  • Know all room types/numbers, meeting rooms, capacities, names, advantages of loyalty programs, VIP standards etc.
  • Responsible for keeping all guest information confidential.
  • Responsible for adhering to departmental standards and procedures.
  • Adhere to the hotels safety & emergency procedures.
  • Responsible for the order and hygiene of the work place and effective use of the equipment.
  • Fulfill responsibilities/prepare reports as requested by the General Manager.


Education: Bachelor degree min. from an accredited university in Hotel & Restaurant Management/Hospitality, Business Administration or related major.

Experience: Min. three years experience as Revenue & Reservations Manager in Hotel Industry.

Other Qualifications: Excellent verbal and written English skills, additional languages are plus. Has excellent knowledge on Opera system, Microsoft Office Applications. Is an effective team player, has excellent communication skills, self motivated personality, can stay calm & friendly under stress, always committed to raise standards, focused on working precise and mistake-free.
