Our client, Slice Merchant Services is a New York City based company that provides payment processing services to its merchant customers in the United States. With more than 7$ Billion worth of transactions per year, Slice Merchant is the leader of the payment processing services in the United States market.

What are we looking for:

We are seeking 15 ambitious, solution-driven excellent English-speaking full-time agents to join as the APPOINTMENT SETTERS for the sales development team. The role will be responsible for expanding Slice’s customer base through identifying potential business clients, establishing initial contact, and scheduling appointments for the sales representative to present our merchant services solutions. 

This role requires effective communication skills and the ability to maintain a high level of organization. 

The goal of this role is to generate appointments for the sales team.  

What you will be doing:

  • Research and identify potential businesses and organizations that could benefit from our merchant services. 
  • Reach out to leads via phone to introduce our services, provide information about the benefits and features of our merchant services and gauge their interest. 
  • Qualify and determine if the lead is suitable candidate for our merchant services. 
  • Schedule appointments for our sales representatives based on their availability. 
  • Ensure that appointments are properly documented and submitted in the CRM system. 

This position will be a great fit for someone who is goal oriented, problem solver that thrives in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, handling multiple prospect accounts per day.

Fundamental Skills:

  • You are a fluent English speaker who speaks professionally via phone and is an active listener.
  • Previous experience in appointment setting, telemarketing or sales is advantageous.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Persistent and results-oriented mindset.
  • You are a self-starter who has a desire to excel in their role, and it’s reflected by exceeding activity metrics and quotas.
  • You are a fast learner.
  • You understand or is willing to learn the merchant services industry in the United States.
