(AWS) Cloud Engineer
We are looking for a Cloud Engineer (AWS) at our location in Hamburg.

WISO-TECH GmbH is an IT service and technology-providing company headquartered in Hamburg, Germany. We offer specialized and high-quality software development, consulting, and support services to various clients in the finance and insurance sectors. Since 2018 we have been located with a company branch in Prishtina.
Technical Qualifications:
- BS or MS in Computer Science or related disciplines or equivalent
- 4+ years of industry software engineering, ideally as a system administrator, infrastructure operations manager, or cloud engineer
- Deep expertise in core AWS services, including EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda, VPC, IAM, and more.
- Proficient in managing and optimizing resource utilization through AWS Auto Scaling and Load Balancing.
- Advanced proficiency in Infrastructure as Code tools such as AWS CloudFormation and Terraform for automated deployment and management of infrastructure.
- Experience working with version control platforms, especially Git/GitHub
- Extensive experience in implementing CI/CD pipelines using tools like AWS Code Pipeline, AWS Code Build, Jenkins, and GitLab CI.
- Integration of deployment pipelines with source control systems and automated testing frameworks.
- Experience in configuring and managing AWS Identity and Access Management (IAM) roles and policies.
- Experience with log aggregation tools such as AWS CloudWatch Logs and Elasticsearch for centralized log management.
- Excellent collaboration skills with the ability to work proactively as part of a team.
- Adaptability and motivation to learn.
- Professional working proficiency in English, and German skills of advantage.
Responsibilities:
- Providing reliable, secure, and performant AWS services Expanding and operating a deployment pipeline and our Kubernetes platform.
- Managing hosting, operations, and support partners.
- Continuous improvement of service quality through monitoring.
- Process automation through e.g., Infrastructure as Code.

- Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to organize and prioritize work efficiently and effectively.
