Improving the Integrity of Public and Private Sector Actors in Public Procurement
The USAID Kosovo Municipal Integrity (USAID KMI) activity is a five-year USAID-funded activity implemented by DAI Global L.L.C. The activity will work on addressing long-standing challenges related to corruption and poor-quality service delivered by the Government of Kosovo by enhancing public financial management (PFM), with a focus on municipal procurement, and by reinforcing accountability mechanisms both within government and outside of government through civil society, the private sector, and media.
The purpose of this Annual Program Statement (APS) is to solicit applications for funding to implement activities that contribute to improving the integrity and accountability of public and private sector actors in public procurement. In response to this APS, the USAID KMI activity expects to award around eight (8) grants, amounting to a total of 260,000 €, to fund successful applications.
Eligibility: USAID KMI activity is seeking grant applications from qualified legally registered Kosovo non-governmental organizations, CSOs, media, private companies, academic institutions, professional associations, and consortiums of the aforementioned.
Questions and Clarifications for first round concept papers: Potential applicants must submit all questions and requests for clarifications regarding this APS in writing via email to KMI_grants@dai.com by June 22, 2023, at 16:00. All correspondence regarding this solicitation must reference the APS number in the subject line. No phone calls or in-person inquiries will be entertained.
Deadline: First round concept papers must be submitted in electronic format to KMI_grants@dai.com no later than 16:00 Kosovo local time on June 30, 2023. While the APS will be open until May 31, 2024. It is likely that all available funds for this APS may be allocated to awards resulting from the first round of evaluations. At the discretion of USAID KMI, applications received after the first round of evaluations may be considered on a rolling basis or as part of another round of evaluations.
