Dental Customer Service Coordinator – Job Description
Dental Customer Service Coordinator’s focus is streamlining communication regarding patient insurance coverage by collaborating with dental office teams and their patients’ insurance providers to collect, report and integrate key information.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Communicate directly with dental office business team members via phone, email and online platforms
  • Online verification of patient dental insurance benefits via online platforms
  • Speak directly to dental insurance customer service representatives to collect specific, detailed, key information about patient plan coverage
  • Accurately document coverage details on patient insurance breakdown forms
  • Confirm and input accurate benefit breakdown details into patient charts
  • Set up accurate patient insurance profiles in patient charts, based on breakdowns
  • Track client/office specific verification data for billing and reporting purposes
  • Maintain and update client/office information as necessary 
  • Work with a US based business team
  • Feel pride in supporting offices to improve case acceptance, experience predictable collections and provide care to

Required Experience and Skills:

  • Excellent communication and fluency in written and spoken English
  • Patient and confident, with a positive attitude
  • Adaptability, commitment to learning and growing in fast-paced exciting startup environment 
  • Ability to problem solve and think critically
  • Passion for details, organization and systems
  • Interest in US healthcare system
  • Motivation to learn
  • Confidence in the use of modern technology (computer/email/software/phone/scanner/internet browsing, etc)
  • Preferably studied Business, Management or Accounting/Finance
