Position: Junior Finance Officer
Department: Finance
Location: Drenas, Kosovë
Main Responsibilities and Responsibilities:
- Make entries in Navision/Business Central financial system, including sales, expenses, assets and other relevant events;
- Prepare monthly account reconciliations, including regular reconciliations for accounts payables and receivables;
- Initiates and/or analyses the cost accounting system requirements, identify alternatives, makes recommendations and implement approved changes;
- Works constructively with the respective departments on cost reduction initiatives;
- Coordinates with other departments to analyze, verify and store documentations submitted by the departments;
- Assist in the preparation of internal financial reports, analyzing and correcting discrepancies;
- Assist in the completion of the monthly close procedures;
- Perform full set of accounts and ensure timely closing of accounts for respective entity;
- Assist the Chief Accountant during tax audit and external audits;
- Participates in yearly inventory of the Company;
- Assist in the preparation of monthly reporting package within the required deadlines by the Group;
Skills and Qualifications:
- BSc in Finance, or related field.
- MSc Diploma in Finance or related fields will be an advantage;
- At least 2 years proven experience in finance, accounting or similar roles;
- Membership in international or local accounting/auditing organizations is considered an advantage;
- Strong analytical skills and ability to work under pressure and with multiple deadlines;
- Self-motivator, capable of working with minimum supervision;
- Highly organized with ability to prioritize multiple projects and tasks while achieving quality results;
- Attention to detail and accuracy;
- Ability to be a team player and adapt at working with people from different backgrounds and nationalities;
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Programs, particularly excel;
- Very good in English language both written and verbal;
- Knowledge of Turkish language is considered an advantage.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills;
