Role summary:

We are looking for a Data Operations Team Leader to ensure quality data from our Data Research function in Kosovo. This is a new role created as we realign responsibilities for our activities and will focus on ensuring that the data asset produced through comprehensive research meets our quality standards and is delivered to an agreed schedule. The role will involve close liason with our MeetTheBoss (MTB) team to agree delivery timescales for data and co-ordinate stakeholders involved in producing data. The role will also define and set standards for researched data and ensure these are achieved as well as inputting to regular quality audits of our Salesforce database to identify clean up activities.

The ideal candidate will have experience of managing multiple data spreadsheets, an understanding of data stewardship and data quality improvement techniques, will have great attention to detail and a willingness to learn and improve our data asset to achieve agreed KPIs.

Key responsibilities:

  • Own the scheduling of data inputs for MTB working closely with the Campaign Executive to ensure that data feeds are available on time and meet campaign requirements.
  • Initial data profiling to understand existing CRM data volumes and fit with client/ campaign brief and additional research requirements.
  • Data quality assessments, ensuring our golden record criteria are achieved prior to loading to our CRM system.
  • Managing our data quality reporting, including internal dashboards, to help identify achievement of targets, gaps and improvement strategies. Defining and achieving realistic KPIs for data quality.
  • Producing effective data assessment reports for our clients and internal stakeholders to demonstrate the achievement of target and wish list criteria.
  • First point of contact where there are concerns about data quality and achievement of sourcing to client briefs.
  • Assisting with the definition and delivery of CRM data improvements, for example record refreshes and corrections.
  • Ensure standards for data documentation are clearly defined and met.
  • Work with Digital stakeholders to provide ad hoc analysis/ specific project deliverables to help with continuous process improvement.


  • Operational management of at least 50 new leads per day per researcher. [A lead is defined as a new or dormant company with both of the following 1) Updated company profile with USP/ solutions highlighted 2) At least one point of contact (decision maker/ budget holder) identified with golden record fields]
  • Data management and stewardship processes followed achieving null data errors and delivery to campaign requirements
  • Data lists are available for campaign start dates
  • Demonstrable progress towards 100% golden record data coverage
  • Demonstrable progress towards updating existing data records at least quarterly
  • Data privacy compliance with null breaches

Required experience:

  • Proven experience of working with multiple data sources, formats and varying degrees of data complexity
  • Ability to manipulate data quickly and efficiently using Excel (intermediate level)
  • Experience of industry research and lead sourcing techniques
  • Can work under pressure and to organise time to tight deadlines without compromising attention to detail
  • Familiarity with marketing disciplines, particularly CRM, Data and Digital
  • Effective organisation, time and project management skills with ability to define and deliver a schedule of outputs
  • Excellent working knowledge of data privacy laws applicable to the country of research and contact channel (e.g. GDPR)
  • Highly organized with effective project management skills to define and deliver a schedule of work
  • Good written/ oral communication skills and experience of explaining data themes to a non-data audience
  • Commercial acumen with experience of delivering against KPIs and adapting lead sourcing approach based on product and industry context
  • Able to work independently or collaboratively and with a remote, multi-location team
  • Highly numerate with preferably a marketing degree with a significant technical content
  • English language score:

Desired experience:

  • CRM knowledge, ideally
  • Experience of working with large, complex datasets
  • Lead sourcing tools e.g. Sales Navigator
  • Understanding of approaches to continuously improving data quality e.g. data stewardship, data dictionaries, data architecture
