POSITION: CFO Chief Financial Officer

Mercurius Consulting is a company specialized in the field of recruitment and selection of staff. We’re looking for a friendly, passionate and professional Chief Financial Officer to join our client’s team in Kosovo, in the industry of Wholesale and Distribution.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Responsible for overseeing the financial operations of a company, making decisions based on the company’s financial stability and review of policies, budgeting, conducting regular evaluations of financial procedures.
- Monitoring cash flow, meeting with the CEO to discuss the best practices for company finances and coming up with strategic plans to improve their company’s overall financial health.
- Developing plans for growth to increase company profit while also reducing expenditure.
- Interpretation of financial information for Board members, auditors, local and state tax administration.
- Monitoring inventory, controlling payable/receivable accounts, managing payroll, creating payment lists, and analyzing income and expense variances, etc.
- Monitoring monthly and annual accounts reporting by applying tax and financial reporting standards.
- Review and submission of departmental budgets and managerial reports.
- Managing accounting and auditing procedures.
QUALIFICATIONS and SKILLS:
- Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting or a similar field (preferable with MBA)
- CFO candidates should demonstrate strong evidence of working in a financial leadership role.
- At least certified to the first level in SCAAK and KAF (certified accountant preferred).
- Experience with accounting software as Navision or equivalent and working with spreadsheets.
- Professional level English language skills (both written and spoken).
- Problem-solving skills to propose mutually beneficial solutions.
- Great data analytical skills.
- Ability to manage time effectively.
