POSITION:                        CFO Chief Financial Officer

Mercurius Consulting is a company specialized in the field of recruitment and selection of staff. We’re looking for a friendly, passionate and professional Chief Financial Officer to join our client’s team in Kosovo, in the industry of Wholesale and Distribution.                                   

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Responsible for overseeing the financial operations of a company, making decisions based on the company’s financial stability and review of policies, budgeting, conducting regular evaluations of financial procedures.
  • Monitoring cash flow, meeting with the CEO to discuss the best practices for company finances and coming up with strategic plans to improve their company’s overall financial health.
  • Developing plans for growth to increase company profit while also reducing expenditure.
  • Interpretation of financial information for Board members, auditors, local and state tax administration.
  • Monitoring inventory, controlling payable/receivable accounts, managing payroll, creating payment lists, and analyzing income and expense variances, etc.
  • Monitoring monthly and annual accounts reporting by applying tax and financial reporting standards.
  • Review and submission of departmental budgets and managerial reports.
  • Managing accounting and auditing procedures.

QUALIFICATIONS and SKILLS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting or a similar field (preferable with MBA)
  • CFO candidates should demonstrate strong evidence of working in a financial leadership role.
  • At least certified to the first level in SCAAK and KAF (certified accountant preferred).
  • Experience with accounting software as Navision or equivalent and working with spreadsheets.
  • Professional level English language skills (both written and spoken).
  • Problem-solving skills to propose mutually beneficial solutions.
  • Great data analytical skills.
  • Ability to manage time effectively.

  • Salary 1,700€ plus, may depend on experience and education.
