Announcement for one (1) Reporting and Data Management Specialist

General information

The Kosovo Credit Guarantee Fund (hereinafter referred to as "KCGF") is an independent legal entity established by relevant law to facilitate access to finance for micro, small and medium enterprises (MSMEs) in Kosovo with the aim of creating places of work, the increase of local production and of those services which create added value, the improvement of the trade balance and the increase of opportunities for the financing of MSMEs.

Description of work responsibilities:

The Reporting and Data Management Specialist is required to support the KCGF to further improve the scope, timeliness, and quality of reporting by partner banks, upgrade internal processes, and prepare reports in the field of credit risk and the financial sector overall.

The KCGF relies heavily on reporting from partner financial institutions, hence the reporting specialist will provide support to build a methodology that will enable the institution to detect the well in advance the reporting errors. Based on the nature of the work the Reporting and Data Management Specialist - will propose automatization and increase the efficiency of reporting without harming the quality of information.

The Reporting and Data Management Specialist will be in charge of the following tasks:

  • Responsible for designing and overall maintaining the reporting package of the institution;
  • Analyze the internal processes in the area of reporting and come up with a revised proposal that aims to increase the quality of reports;  
  • Prepare reports for internal and external needs,
  • Assist in preparing performance indicators that would be used for evaluating the performance of KCGF, or the performance of the financial sector in Kosovo; 
  • Contribute to automatization and digitization of reporting in the institution;
  • Communicate the results of data analysis in written and verbal form to managers;
  • Presenting information through reports, presentation, and visualization packages;
  • Other tasks delegated from a supervisor.


The Reporting and Data Management Specialist will need to meet the following requirements:

  • Faculty degree in economy or statistics or the area relevant to the assignment;
  • At least three (3) years of relevant working experience in MIS or other areas that are related to reporting and data management;
  • Recommendable working experience in the banking sector or areas related to the financial sector.

The skills and competencies that will be evaluated through the selection process are:

  • Ability in using Microsoft Excel or other relevant software used for data analyses;
  • Ability to analyze data and convey information;
  • Ability to build analytic reports and models;
  • Good communication skills and ability to work in a team;

Term and duration

The Reporting and Data Management Specialist will be offered a one (1) year contract, which will be renewed on an annual basis, and will be located in the office of the FKGK in Pristina. The contract will be continued based on satisfactory performance evaluation results.
