Position title: Account Executive (Business Development)

Job Description

We are looking for a dynamic, high-performing Account Executive with experience selling technology and/or other services over the phone, by email, and via web-based presentations. You will be responsible for proactively hunting, attracting and converting new business. The ideal candidate has a history of bringing on new business and hitting sales quotas, and loves the challenges that come with outbound prospecting in a competitive market. Tactica serves international clients in the US and Europe, therefore the ability to communicate fluently in English is a must.

Responsibilities for Account Executive:

  • Reaching out to prospects via email, phone, and video calls
  • Managing the entire sales cycle from finding a client to qualifying and closing the deal
  • Communicating with clients to understand their needs and to gather product or service feedback
  • Presenting and demonstrating the value of Tactica products and services to prospective buyers
  • Forecasting weekly, monthly and annual sales whilst developing a reliable pipeline and hitting or exceeding quota.
  • Remaining in frequent contact with the clients in your responsibility to understand their needs
  • Managing internal relationships with the team in order to support prospects during the sales cycle
  • Keeping up to date records of leads and opportunities including stages, value and next steps.

Qualifications for Account Executive:

  • Proven experience as an Account Executive, or in other sales/customer service role (Sales Development Representative or Customer Support)
  • Knowledge of market research, sales and negotiating principles
  • Outstanding knowledge of MS Office; knowledge of CRM software (eg. Hubspot), and email/social media outreach platforms, is a plus
  • Knowledge of digital marketing (SEO, Social Media, Paid ads, PR services, design/branding, email marketing, ) is a huge plus
  • Excellent English communication/presentation skills and ability to build relationships (German communication skills is a plus)
  • Excellent proposal writing skills
  • Organizational and time-management skills
  • A business acumen
  • Enthusiastic and passionate (“hustler mentality”)
  • BSc or BA in business administration, sales or marketing is a plus
