GDS Group is seeking a Social Media Specialist / Influencer with the following experience and traits:

  • Prior experience working with C-Suite and high-profile executives
  • Bachelor’s Degree in English, Advertising, Marketing, Business or related field
  • 3+ years of experience in social media/marketing
  • Knowledgeable and informed of the latest social media developments, online behaviors, and trends
  • Proficiency in Microsoft 365
  • Proficiency on social media platforms: Twitter, LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram, YouTube
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication: multi-tasking, networking, time management and interpersonal skills
  • Well-read and current on trending topics (specifically business, technology and marketing)
  • Strong sense of urgency and attention to detail, specifically with regard to written communications
  • Experience using social media monitoring platforms (eg, BrandWatch, Sprout Listening, SalesForce Marketing Cloud)
  • Experience working on global teams
  • Tech savvy
  • Strong initiative and can-do attitude(!)
  • Native level English (speaking, reading, writing)

The Social Media Specialist / Influencer will work on the following:

Daily Management

  • Manage assigned social media projects and strategies for 20+ branded accounts
  • Maintain a current, relevant and meaningful position for the brand’s social media presence
  • Track campaign performance and make actionable optimization recommendations

Social Campaign Development

  • Develop strategies and tactical recommendations for social media presence / campaigns
  • Ideate strategies for increasing brand engagement, followership
  • Develop “shoutout for shoutout” and similar creative strategies using influencers and other social media properties for increasing brand exposure
  • Prepare performance reports on weekly, monthly basis

Social Campaign Execution

  • Plan and monitor social media campaigns, inclusive of organic conversations within the social space
  • Identify threats and opportunities in user generated content surrounding the brand and trending conversations, report to appropriate stakeholders and /or execute rapidly
  • Develop, execute a social media content calendar
  • Manage, monitor and engage in social media with timely participation in conversations that surround content and brand
  • Answer mentions, comments and messages insightfully and according to brand voice
  • Gather and compile research data in a comprehensible format and strategize on goals and objectives of campaign
