SENIOR DATA ANALYST

Job brief:
FINCA Kosovo is looking to hire a passionate Senior Data Analyst. The successful candidate will turn data into information, information into insight and insight into business decisions.
Job duties:
Senior Data Analyst responsibilities include conducting full lifecycle analysis using statistical techniques to track historical developments. Senior Data analyst will develop analysis tools that use historical data to help FINCA Kosovo make better business decisions. He/she will also monitor performance and quality control plans to identify areas for improvement.
Responsibilities:
- Build analysis, data visualizations, and multi-functional reporting to the Management, which provides critical support to the operations and decision-making of the institution
- Use internal and external analytics tools, SQL, and scripting languages to access and analyze multivariate data
- Develop and implement data bases, data collection systems, data analytics and other strategies that optimize statistical efficiency and quality
- Responsible to access all data sources available within FINCA (Excel Reports, Core System Databases, External Data sources) Identify, analyze and interpret trends or pattern in complex data set
- Removing corrupted data and fixing coding errors and related problems Work with management to prioritize business and information needs
Requirements:
- Strong mathematical and statistical skills to help collect, measure, organize and analyze data Manipulating large data sets in SQL, statistical analyses and scripting languages (R and Python)
- Technical proficiency regarding database design development, data models, techniques for data mining, and segmentation. Experience taking vague requirements and transforming them into crisp insights; Working in a “big-data” environment
- University Degree in Mathematics, Economics, Computer Science, Information Management or Statistics 3+ years of analytical experience
- Fluent English language is required
