Rule of Law Advisor
Overall purpose of the post
The regional project “Legal Reform for Economic Development in the Western Balkans” is supporting the countries in harmonizing their actions with EU standards on the rule of law and human rights through regional initiatives related to EU-compliant implementation of laws in the field of sustainable economic development. The project strengthens cooperation and regional learning in the framework of regional experience exchange forums. The main outputs of the project will contribute to improving conditions (1) for a better access to legal information for female economic actors; (2) for more effective dispute resolution between investors and authorities, and (3) for improving cross-border legal transactions in the Western Balkans countries.
The rule of law advisor will be in charge of supporting the overall planning, implementing and monitoring of the project activities relating to the activities in Kosovo and beyond in close consultation with the GIZ project team and the counterparts.
