Executive Assistant

We are bevuta IT, a Germany headquartered software company. Our team consists of tech enthusiasts and other curious people from all over Europe. Together we build and operate SaaS products like DeployBot (https://deploybot.com/), our hosted CI/CD system, or nora (https://nora-notruf.de/), the public nationwide mobile app based emergency call system in Germany. We also work forward to build further cool, new products that make lives better. Our ultimate goal is to improve the way we live and work together. And now we need you on board to accomplish our mission!

In your role as Executive Assistant, your primary task is to ensure the smooth running of bevuta IT for all non-technical matters. This includes responsibility for the operational support of our three-person management team in Cologne, management team in Prishtina, office management for both our offices, as well as tasks in the area of People & Culture (in many companies "HR"). In short, your job is to keep our employees happy.

At bevuta we truly believe in working at eye level across the whole team – from interns to top management. We try to avoid cargo cult and bullshit bingo as much as possible. We value honesty, dedicated work and attention to detail.

Open source and open knowledge are really important to us. We run almost all our software ourselves, for example GitLab, Mattermost, Redmine, Zammad and much more, all under NixOS. For some tasks, there is no adequate open source alternative available yet. Then we work with market-leading applications like Google Slides, Google Docs and Figma. But we don't expect you to already have experience with our complete stack and will teach you everything you need to know.

The same applies to your tasks. If you already have extensive experience with many relevant tasks, that's great, but we don't expect you to be able to do everything we expect of you right away.

Your tasks at bevuta

Build the fundament for critical decisions by preparing decision memos in cooperation with experts from the bevuta team and performing insightful research on general market conditions, political agendas, social topics, sustainability (e.g. sustainable purchasing decisions) and organizational development
Get everyone on the same page by creating presentations for internal meetings and meetings with our clients
Keep everyone informed by planning, scheduling, moderating and following-up meetings
Help us grow by supporting our recruiting efforts and delivering a great candidate experience
Keep our team committed by organizing small and large company events or other amenities

Your profile

You are dedicated and committed to your work
You have an academic degree in any field
You are driven by the desire to learn, develop yourself and make a career
You have at least two years of work experience
You enjoy taking care of the needs of the management and at the same time working with a large team
Your strong communication skills enable you to collaborate with various colleagues from all over Europe
You are good at self-management and working independently
You are very fluent in English and German (level C1 or C2, but no certificate needed)
