Junior Desktop Developer

 The Role

 As a software engineer in the Desktop Development team, you will be responsible for specifying, building, and maintaining the next generation of Desktop Applications for our customers with varying requirements. You’ll be part of one of our multidisciplinary Desktop Development team, where you will build both desktop based systems, and work closely with product managers and other engineers.

Responsibilities for the Desktop Developer include: 

• Design and develop desktop solutions leveraging .NET and Windows Forms
• Work in conjunction with the management for the design and review of development projects to ensure the work is in line with the overall design and strategy
• Develop new and improve existing desktop based processes
• Participate in architectural improvements to support our growing performance requirements.
• Write new Windows Froms components in support of new features.
• Improve reliability, scalability and performance of Kubit's desktop platforms.
• Debug issues in production, root cause and apply fixes in timely manner.

Requirements for the Desktop Developer include:

• 1+ years of desktop development experience leveraging .NET and Windows Forms
• Strong working knowledge of Windows forms
• Strong working knowledge of C#
• Strong working knowledge of ADO.NET
• Strong working knowledge of SQL Server
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and collaboration skills.
• BS in Computer Science or equivalent preferred (or in progress)
