Business Analyst for Finance and Accounting

As a Business Analyst you will play a key role in contributing to the success of an exciting and fast-paced global organization. This role will require you to administer Litera’s core systems within the finance and accounting team, Prophix, and NetSuite. You will be partnering with the FP&A team on reporting, budgeting, forecasting, and managing connectors between Prophix, NetSuite, and potentially other internal systems (Salesforce, Tableau, ADP, etc.).

This is an excellent opportunity for a forward-looking individual to leverage their system experience and knowledge to customize reporting in an efficient and automated manner.

This position reports to the Senior Director of FP&A.

Responsibilities

• Company's expert in Prophix and NetSuite.
• Ensure FP&A team has all data needed for monthly reviews with Business Unit and department leaders in terms of revenue, expenses, and contribution margin.
• Assist in building a monthly rolling forecast process in Prophix.
• Support the FP&A team in the annual budget process for revenue, headcount, and expenses.
• Prepare financial models and custom reports in Prophix.
• Assist with integrating M&A activity into NetSuite and Prophix.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in finance or Accounting, or equivalent work experience.
• 5+ years of experience using EPM/CPM tools (preferably Prophix), including administrative responsibilities, financial modeling, and cube design.
• 5+ years of experience using general ledger systems (NetSuite strongly preferred), and a solid understanding of US GAAP.
• Experience working in an FP&A organization preferred.
• Extremely high attention to detail; completes work accurately and has good organizational and time management skills.
• Advanced Excel and analytical skills.
• SaaS/software industry experienced preferred.
• Ability to set and meet deadlines including ability to manage multiple tasks to completion at the same time.
• A strong desire to keep learning new things!
