Currently, we have a full-time job opening for the following position:

Accountant - Payroll Team

Responsible for preparation of quarterly financial statements, QuickBooks reporting and assisting in the accounting staff management.


Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Payroll & Subcontractor’s payments;
  • Maintains payroll information by collecting, calculating, and entering data.
  • Updates payroll records by entering changes in exemptions, insurance coverage, savings deductions, and job title and department/division transfers.
  • Resolves payroll discrepancies by collecting and analyzing information.
  • Provides payroll information by answering questions and requests.
  • Maintains payroll operations by following policies and procedures; reporting required changes.
  • Maintains employee confidence and protects payroll operations by keeping information confidential.
  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
  • Reviews the time sheets daily, prepare the calculations, and process the payments for subcontractors we have Times and Materials Contract agreement with.
  • Prepares the lien waivers and send them to the subcontractors.
  • Effectively communicates with Project Managers or Project Superintendents regarding time sheets, employees’ rates, and other documents needed to make the payments to the subcontractors.
  • Conference Call meetings with Chief Financial Officer and Financial Controllers on a weekly basis.
  Analytics and Reporting:
  • Analyzes monthly cost report, Profit & Loss and Accounts Receivable, and review with the project management team.
  • Processes customized client reports, if necessary.
  • Compiles and provides information to internal and external auditors.
  • Position may be required to perform duties outside their normal responsibilities as needed and when requested.
    Job requirements: Education, Training, Experience:
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or equivalent.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience on financial and accounting department.
  • Excellent MS Office Suite skills (Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and Project), particularly with spreadsheet applications.
  • Familiar with QuickBooks and/or similar Accounting Software.
  • Ability to research, compile, analyze and interpret data.
  • Excellent oral and written communication in English Language with the ability to interact at various levels of the organization.
  • Proven record of providing excellent internal and external customer service.
  • Detail-oriented, and able to multitask and exercise proper judgment in a fast-paced environment.
  • A self-starter requiring minimal day to day supervision.
